How we use your data
We manage your registration and notify you when your chosen format launches: the physical product or STL files. The notification will include a purchase link and the launch discount terms. Your phone details help us prepare adaptations; the address provided for the physical product is used to plan and estimate shipping. Signing up is not a purchase and does not reserve a unit.
What information we collect
We ask for your name, your chosen format and the contact details for the channel you authorise: email or WhatsApp. For the physical product, the form also requires your street address, postal code, city, state or region and country; apartment and unit details are optional. We do not ask for a postal address for STL files. Other fields are marked as optional. We record the registration date, language, consent wording and version, the version of the model shown, and campaign tags from the referring page.
Founder orders and payments
Stripe processes payment and collects your name, email, phone, shipping address and phone model. We store these details, the amount, payment status and acceptance of the terms to manage the preorder, delivery and applicable obligations. We do not store card details. Purchasing does not subscribe you to marketing. Order information is retained while needed to fulfil it and for applicable legal retention periods.
You choose the channel
Your consent is the basis for processing your registration and sending the launch notification. The consent box is unticked by default and applies only to the format and channel you choose. Providing another contact detail does not authorise us to use it for advertising. We do not add you to a general newsletter or third-party campaigns. You may withdraw your consent at any time; this does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal. Analytics is independent of your registration. It is enabled only with your consent and is not linked to your name, email, phone number or address on the waitlist. You can reject it and continue using every feature of the website.
Hosting and service providers
The list is stored in ChatGPT Sites, on Cloudflare infrastructure, and can be accessed by its controller. If the email service is configured, notifications of new registrations will be sent to the controller’s Gmail inbox through the connected email provider. These providers are involved in delivering the services. WhatsApp will only be used for the notification if you have chosen and authorised that channel. We do not sell your information or share it with third parties for their own advertising. Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area; you can request details of the providers used and the applicable safeguards by writing to the contact address provided.
How long we keep your data
Your registration is valid for a maximum of 24 months from sign-up. We check validity when registering new requests and when viewing or exporting the management list, and delete registrations older than 24 months. We also delete your data sooner if you withdraw your consent or if it is no longer needed for your chosen launch. Expired or deleted requests are excluded from launch notifications, and any pending notifications for them are cancelled. The controller must also remove the data from exported copies and their email. Any exceptional retention required by law will be limited to the information and time necessary.
Your rights and how to leave the list
Write to maranonbingen@gmail.com to leave the list, withdraw your consent or request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability, where applicable. Include the email address or phone number you used to sign up; we will only ask for additional information if needed to verify your identity. We will handle your request without undue delay and, as a general rule, within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency at www.aepd.es.
Security and abuse prevention
We limit repeated submissions using a technical identifier derived from your connection address that expires after one hour. We do not add your IP address to the waitlist. This measure is based on the legitimate interest of protecting the form and preventing abuse. The hosting provider may maintain its own technical security and authentication logs. We do not make automated decisions that have legal effects on you.
Cookies and local storage
We store giraxo_analytics_consent_v1 for 180 days to remember whether you accept or reject analytics, and giraxo_locale for 180 days when you expressly choose a language. These are technical preferences. Google Analytics only loads after you accept analytics; it may then store _ga and _ga_* cookies for a maximum of 180 days. You can withdraw your consent and delete these cookies under Privacy preferences. We do not use advertising cookies. The hosting provider may use technical mechanisms necessary for security and access.
Language and region
We may use the language requested by your browser and the approximate country provided by the hosting service to display an appropriate version of the page. We do not request your precise location or store this detection as a permanent preference. You can always choose another language; only that choice is remembered in your browser.
Optional analytics: Google Analytics
Only with your permission do we use Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited, to measure visits, sections viewed, engagement time and interactions. Google receives cookie identifiers, browser and device data, approximate location and browsing events. We do not send the information you enter in the form or screen recordings. We do not enable Google Signals or personalised advertising. Rejecting or withdrawing this permission does not affect your waitlist registration. You can change it under Privacy preferences. Google may process information outside the European Economic Area; its data processing terms and safeguards are available at https://business.safety.google/adsprocessorterms/ and its privacy policy at https://policies.google.com/privacy.
